WHAT’S A RIDENFADEN?
We’re a diverse group of cyclists based in Louisville KY riding year-round every Wednesday night ending up at a little bar in Germantown. What began with two friends enjoying a post ride beer at Seidenfaden’s in 2009 grew and coined the name Ridenfaden in 2015.
Now, a sponsor supported community cycling group riding road, gravel and dirt frequenting local breweries, bars and bike shops. We pay no dues, just our tab. Some of us race, some of us act like it, some like to slow roll and it’s all OK.

Meets at Big Four Bridge, 1101 River Road, Louisville, KY 40202
Show and go ride that’s not always lead by someone. Both meet at 5:30, Rolling at 5:45 PM from the Kentucky side of the big four Bridge towards new Albany Indiana for a 19 or 12 mile ride on paths and roads. Weather permitting. Le’ Ridenfaden Roubaix Tuesday
Meets at Seidenfaden’s, 1134 Breckenridge Street, Louisville KY 40204
LIGHTS REQUIRED – FRONT AND REAR – 6:30 ROLL TIME
I recommend a road bike with larger tires, 28mm or more running slightly lower pressure than normal. Second choice, just bring a cyclocross bike or mountain bike. Ride tempo on the cobbles, easy on pavement. Route TBD each week. 10 MILES. Maybe less, maybe more. Ride ends at a food and beer stop by 8PM

Come join the fun EVERY Wednesday evening year round for RIDENFADEN WEDNESDAY leaving from Seidenfaden’s at 6:30 We all end up back at Seidenfaden’s by 8 o’clock, for post ride beverages and socializing with a food truck if we are lucky. Seidenfaden’s, “where we park inside”.
