Welcome to Crazy Team Ridenfaden Cyclists!

Why become a member?

If you’re tired or wary of riding on the roads, bike paths or off road trails alone, then riding in the safety of a group might be just the answer. Safety in numbers is often said. We will show you how to ride safely and confidently with others.

If you are new to cycling, don’t know much about it and don’t go very fast we have you covered with GROUP 2. A fun loving bunch of caring individuals who don’t always need to go fast, look out for each other and know how to have a good time! Most GROUP 2 rides are no drop and swept by a ride chief.

If you’re a faster rider, experienced, want to be challenged, learn new and amazing routes or just go the distance, we have that in GROUP 1. A dedicated group of well rounded riders, some very capable of pushing the limits with past and current racing experience. Others are newer with amazing abilities and quickly learning the skill of drafting, riding pacelines, climbing and art of the breakaway. Most GROUP 1 rides are drop rides with regrouping at certain intervals: Hill tops, store stops and mechanicals.

The beauty of these two dedicated groups becomes apparent when we are able to schedule an all inclusive Ridenfaden ride that accommodates both of them. This ride would be comprised of two routes, one longer and one shorter, with the route footprint overlapping and sharing the same start, finish and post ride beverage and food stop. A pretty fun time!

To become a member and ride with us you will need the desire to ride, a mechanically sound bicycle, helmet, completion of this membership form including the brief questionare (including privacy options), agreement of our rules and signed liability release.

It’s been said that we are the most social and inclusive bike club in Louisville KY. It is our tradition to go on a good ride then stop somewhere during and or afterwards for food and beverage. Some of us enjoy a beer and other drinks, some don’t and that’s alright!

Since we are a 100% sponsor and merchandise supported club, your membership is provided at no additional cost. If you are interested in donating or becoming a sponsor, please drop us an email and we will provide sponsorship information:
